MEXICO CITY, April 7, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — Grupo Aeromexico S.A.B. de C.V. (“Aeromexico”) (BMV: AEROMEX) today reported March 2021 operational results.

Grupo Aeromexico transported 1 million 167 thousand passengers in March 2021, an increase of 30.0% versus February 2021 and an increase of 12.3% year on-year. Increases in both domestic and international passenger demand led to the improvement in March vs February.

Aeromexico’s capacity, measured in Available Seat Kilometers (ASKs) increased by 12.7% compared to February 2021 and decreased by 25.6% year-on-year.

Demand measured in Revenue Passenger Kilometers (RPKs) increased by 30.2% compared to February 2021 and decreased by 16.3% year-on-year.

Aeromexico’s March load factor was 75.3%, an increase of 9.2 p.p. versus February 2021 and a 10.5 p.p. increase versus March 2020. Domestic load factor was 86.4%, an increase of 20.9 p.p. compared to March 2020.

During March Aeromexico operated the first flight in its history to Russia with a cargo charter operation.
