Bonita interior structure small business thrives throughout pandemic

Clients are able to meet with designers Diane Torrisi and Candice Kelber their design studio on Old 41 Road in Bonita Springs, photographed on Tuesday, March 2, 2021.

Diane Torrisi opened an inside layout studio in downtown Bonita Springs in February 2020, marking a new milestone in her daily life.

The country’s economy came to a screeching halt two months afterwards — a nightmare scenario for an unbiased organization proprietor like Torrisi.

“When every little thing commenced closing, I was freaking out,” Torrisi stated. “Nobody realized what was occurring.”

COVID-19 swept across the state, leading to quick quarantine and closures in late March. Torrisi spent a few of several hours every day at her store on Aged 41 Street to get out of the house.

“The studio saved my sanity,” she claimed. “It permit me prepare for the long run.”

The pandemic compelled several Bonita Springs businesses to close their doorways, specifically restaurants, but the Aged 41 Street place arrived out intact, said Trish Leonard, president of the Bonita Springs Downtown Alliance.
