CCC names Banko new vice president of finance and administrative solutions | Information

MOREHEAD City — Carteret Group School has named Matthew T. Banko as its vice president of finance and administrative expert services.

Mr. Banko will start off his new placement Sunday, Aug. 1.

He replaces Steve Davis, who was dismissed from CCC May 31, and “is now a retiree of the State of North Carolina,” in accordance to CCC general public information and facts officer Logan Okun.

No explanation was offered for the dismissal, but Ms. Okun confirmed there have been no criminal costs associated linked to Mr. Davis’ dismissal.

Mr. Banko’s starting up income is $100,000, which is paid out from state cash, in accordance to Ms. Okun.

Mr. Banko graduated from Seton Hall College in 1992 with a bachelor’s diploma in organization administration. In 2008, he received his North Carolina license as a Qualified Community Accountant. He is pursuing his master’s diploma in accounting from Gardner-Webb University.

The CCC vice president of finance and administrative solutions is the main economical officer and is accountable to the president for all company and fiscal affairs of the higher education. Mr. Banko will approach, direct and review the routines and functions of typical accounting, budgeting, economical reporting, obtaining, campus information engineering, stability and auxiliary providers. He will also coordinate assigned things to do with other university functions and outside agencies.
