City of Salisbury names Wade Furches as Finance Director

SALISBURY, N.C. (WBTV) – Wade Furches’ interim finance director title is formally a permanent just one. Nowadays, Salisbury Metropolis Supervisor W. Lane Bailey named Furches the city’s finance director after 1 month in the interim purpose.

Furches is a 23-year veteran of the Metropolis of Salisbury, joining the firm in 1998 as an accounting supervisor. He was promoted to finance manager in 2006 exactly where he managed the day-to-day economic functions, basic ledger maintenance, accounts payable, payroll and the City’s investment portfolio.

He also served as direct auditor for audits of 6 municipalities.

Furches holds a bachelor’s degree from Catawba Higher education, is a Certified General public Accountant (CPA) and a Qualified Regional Governing administration Finance Officer.
