WASHINGTON (AP) — The Biden administration has sued to block the merger of two of the world’s greatest insurance coverage brokers, asserting the deal could eradicate competition, increase prices and hamper innovation for U.S. organizations, businesses and unions that use the companies’ products and services.
The Justice Section on Wednesday introduced the antitrust suit submitted in federal court docket in Washington trying to get to prevent AONs proposed $30 billion acquisition of rival rewards and danger expert Willis Towers Watson.
