Donation to advantage UT Martin accounting, finance pupils
MARTIN, Tenn. — College of Tennessee at Martin students majoring in accounting and finance have been given a major contribution to their schooling.
A news launch from the college says James D. “Jim” and Barbara Wingett provided a $1 million pledge to the James Duncan Wingett Scholarship Endowment.
The Wingetts say the college is a exclusive area to them. The release says the couple met there in the 1980s.
