HARLINGEN, Texas — The city of Harlingen has gained an award for Certification of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Governing administration Finance Officers Affiliation of the United States and Canada (GFOA).
In a news release, the city explained the award was presented for its thorough once-a-year economical report for the fiscal calendar year that ended September 30, 2019.
The report has been judged by an impartial panel to meet the large expectations of the system, which features demonstrating a constructive “spirit of entire disclosure” to obviously talk its fiscal story and motivate prospective customers and person teams to examine the report, claimed the release.
