GM producing new EV small business BrightDrop to pace supply, logistics

Detroit — General Motors Co. is creating a new electrical organization called BrightDrop that will concentration on aiding supply and logistics corporations with electric computer software, providers and  a new vehicle — and buyers feel to like the ideas.

The automaker’s electric individuals-relocating drone strategy — and other initiatives touted by CEO Mary Barra at the virtual CES electronics demonstrate — despatched GM’s inventory to an all time superior, closing up 6% at $47.81 on Tuesday.

GM formed BrightDrop to aid delivery and logistics companies with electrical software package, companies and a supply van. BrightDrop’s first products to marketplace will be the EP1, an electric pallet that GM suggests can move product over short distances.
