Gorman-Rupp announces Scott A. King elected as new director | Business Information

MANSFIELD — The Gorman-Rupp Firm (NYSE: GRC) introduced Friday that at the annual conference of the shareholders of The Gorman-Rupp Business on April 22, 2021, Scott A. King was elected to the Board of Directors.

“We are delighted that Mr. King is becoming a member of our Board,” stated Jeffrey S. Gorman, Chairman and CEO. “He joins as a Director with a valued background and deep information of the pump industry and the Company’s merchandise, customers, and rivals that will add critical insight to our Board.”

King, 46, is President and Chief Running Officer of the Firm. Mr. King was elected President on January 1, 2021 and retained his function as Main Operating Officer immediately after beforehand serving as Vice President and Main Functioning Officer given that April 2019.

King has been with the Enterprise because 2004 and has held different operational management roles throughout this time. Prior to signing up for the Corporation, he served in several capacities with Fortune 500 diversified industrial brands.
