August 10, (THEWILL) – The Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) has introduced the demise of its Director, Finance and Accounts (DFA), Mr. Aniefiok Umoh, who passed on, on Sunday.

In an formal assertion issued Wednesday, signed by the Running Director, Capt Fola Akinkuotu, NAMA mentioned that: “It is with wonderful shock, deep soreness and disbelief, but with complete submission to the will of the Almighty God, that we announce the premature passing of our Director of Finance and Accounts (DFA), Mr. Aniefiok Umoh, which unfortunate occasion transpired on Sunday, the 8th of August, 2021, immediately after a transient illness”.

A native of Akwa Ibom Condition, late Aniefiok Umoh, attended Accra Polytechnic, and Methodist University University, both of those in Ghana, where by he obtained a Bigger National Diploma (HND) in Accounting and a Bachelor’s Diploma in Accounting respectively.

He began his banking job in 1977, with the then Barclays Bank of Nigeria (now Union Financial institution).

He afterwards transferred his products and services to MedAfrica Transport Line, Lagos in 1985 as an accountant.

The late Umoh held a quantity of leadership positions at corporate ranges in some blue chip organisations. For instance, he was an Government Director, Astraeus Airline, Ghana for in excess of 9 a long time and Finance Director, Air Chartered Providers, also in Ghana.

Umoh was appointed Director, Finance and Accounts (DFA), Nigerian Airspace Administration Company (NAMA) in 2017. Prior to this time, he was Normal Supervisor, Accounts, at the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).
