Shalawylo took exception to Devine’s “good neighbor” comment and pointed out that his organization has donated to wounded veterans and other charities in the town. He said it is hypocritical that the metropolis is opening Riverfront Park in the vicinity of his cafe later on this calendar year and there will be an amphitheater and presumably dwell new music functions.
“They’re likely to be executing the correct same point that I’m carrying out right now,” Shalawylo said. “So what do I do? Do I complain every single day? How do we come collectively without having that happening, mainly because I’m not heading to go absent quietly. I’m combating for my life right now.”
