SEO Specialist German Amsterdam

We’re looking for an SEO Specialist for a digital marketing firm that specializes in websites and digital marketing solutions for enterprise partners that have large databases of small and medium sized business customers.

As this company is growing, they’re in need of a bigger SEO team. Therefore, they’re looking to hire an SEO Specialist for their German and Austrian market. The SEO Specialist will be experienced in SEO, and ideally have an understanding of other digital marketing solutions such as SEM, Social and Paid Social, preferably within the small and medium sized business market.

What will you be doing as an SEO Specialist?

  • Help clients define their online performance and organic marketing strategies;
  • Help clients maximize qualified traffic to their websites;
  • Maximize the use of analytics and insights to drive online KPIs;
  • Create reports on paid organic marketing activity, customer & sales impacts, ROI, and overall performance of SEO campaigns;
  • Train campaign managers and content writers on all things SEO;
  • Continuously stay up to date on SEO forums, blogs and publications to ensure the implementation and use of the latest strategies for the firm’s SEO products.

Skills & Qualifications needed for this role:

  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience & interest in SEO;
  • Native German language skills and fluency in English. The campaigns you work on will be in German, but internal communication will be in English;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams;
  • Strong analytical skills, excellent with Excel and other reporting / analytical tools;
  • Ability to create professional reports in PowerPoint and present findings to partners and management.
  • Experience with SalesForce, Jira and confluence is a plus;
  • SEO experience required, SEM experience preferred;
  • Experience with the following tools; Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, Search Console, Raven Tools, SEMRush, Moz, Ahrefs, Majestic. Knowledge of SEranking preferred.
