WASHINGTON, Sept 1 (Reuters) – The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) mentioned Wednesday it is investigating a deviation in the descent of the flight of the Virgin Galactic rocket airplane that carried British billionaire Richard Branson to the edge of room on July 11.
The New Yorker magazine earlier documented that the regulator was investigating an off-class descent. An FAA spokesman informed Reuters the auto “deviated from its Air Targeted visitors Control clearance as it returned to Spaceport The united states. The FAA investigation is ongoing.”
